We are two sister organisations based in England and Costa Rica. We believe that the rural populations of the world have much to contribute to modern society. Rural people have a deep understanding of the many facets which make up a real increase in quality of life and their conservation, which those who live in urban environments may forget or have never known about. Our mission is to promote activities and interchange which protect and nurture rural populations and their environment, so that they may continue to be a source of physical, cultural and spiritual sustenance for the world. We further our aims within three main areas:

• Furthering integral human development, through a better understanding of diversity in values and ethical and spiritual practices and concepts.
• Building a positive co-operative spirit with, within and between communities, increasing motivation and improving communication to achieve positive change using appropriate techniques such as Appreciative Inquiry
• Identifying, testing and adapting new products, services and marketing strategies for small farmers throughout the world, but especially in Central America, for example by facilitating the use of high quality seeds.
